I am republishing my novel Gift of Dreams. It has been a long journey. There is so much more to writing a novel than writing the story. My first publisher did a horrible job, and the story was just not finished. So, I unpublished and hopefully in the next month or so, it will be republished. For first time writers, just know that writing encompasses more than writing. The hardest part for me is social media. Letting people know me and promoting myself, as well as my novel. If you don’t go the traditional way with an agent who is able to make a deal with a major publisher, just know that advertising and promoting falls to you. I suggest, enter contests, and get reviews before your novel is published, so you have blurbs to put on the book. Here is a copy of my cover for Gift of Dreams. Opinions are welcomed.
